NHRA Major Sponcer Award Plaque.1987 ACCEL spark plugs
Product Description
The wood plaque measures about 15" L x 10" H and about 7/8" thick.
It has a round blue acrylic picture plate with Silver etching on the left which has the Picture Logo of NHRA which is the guy with his hand on the tire. and says: National Hot Rod Association Major Sponsor 1987 and there is a Black - SIlver etched plate on the right that is etched in White that has the Drag Racing Championship logo and under it in gold it says:

INVOLVEMENT AND VALUABLE
SUPPORT RENDERED DURING THE
1987 SEASON OF NHRA
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DRAG RACING
PRESENTED BY

The plaque has some minor and more than minor scratches on it. It's in ok condition, But has very clear wear on it. ( Scratches on round acrylic plaque around the edge and on the 9 of the date. Scratches and dents on the rectangler etched placard to the right on the top and bottom. Wooden Plaque itself is slightly warped...top and bottom are higher than middle if layed on a flat surface and has some scratches and some kind of residue above the round acrylic section. Back of plaque has some residue from double sided tape.)
We are selling this plaque at a lower price due to the damage. We were told that it could be touched up and repaired pretty inexpensively, but we do not do that here. It is sold as is. If you would like more pictures please let us know.
